To verify whether using an anti-spatter agent affects the paint adhesion or coating quality of the workpiece, a comparative experiment was conducted.
Test Procedure:
Next, different
areas of both workpieces were coated with paint for testing. The process began
with applying a primer, which serves to level the surface and provide
adhesion for the topcoat. After the primer application, a topcoat was
applied. The topcoat determines the overall coating performance, including scratch
resistance, hardness, and aging resistance. Therefore, the quality of the
topcoat directly reflects the overall coating quality.
Finally, the
painting results of the workpieces treated with different anti-spatter agents
were compared and analyzed.

Conclusion:
Our company’s THI® F-406 Welding anti-spatter Agent does not affect
the painting or coating process on the workpiece surface. It can be used
with confidence without compromising coating quality.
